Get Results From Self Hypnosis
The most important step in any hypnosis program is setting your intention! Before you even turn a self hypnosis session on you should first have a written statement of your intention. this statement should sum up the result you want to accomplish from listening to the hypnosis session. For an example we will assume you have a goal to gain more self confidence.
Firstly write down a statement outling your intent and alter it so that it becomes an affirmation or set of affirmations. Make it present tense and very positive in nature. "I am increasing my confidence everyday", "I am self assured and self confident in every situation" and "I can feel my self-esteem increasing everyday" are a few good examples.
Ensure that you do not include the negative aspect your goal or what you do not want such as "I am no longer lacking in confidence" or "My low self-esteem is getting better". These statements focus on the situation as it is not how you want it to be. So remember keep the statement positive and only include what you do want! While still in a waking state imagine how you would look and feel if these statements were true. Make a quick mental movie of how the new you would walk, talk and interact with people. Create a mental movie that shows you being confident in situations that would normally leave you feeling a lack of confidence. You will use this mental movie during your self-hypnotic trance session.
Begin by breathing deeply. In through your nose to the count of five and out through your mouth to the count of five. This will relax your body.
Focus your gaze softly on a spot in front of you. Look for somewhere that is slightly above eye-level while you keep your head straight.
Relax each muscle group of your body beginning with your feet and moving up to your head. While doing this allow your eyes to close when they begin to feel heavy.
Now take a deep breath and on the exhale mentally repeat your affirmation. Do this for several cycles until you feel that the affirmation is beginning to feel like the truth.
Continue to breathe deeply and imagine that you are at a movie theatre. Directly in front of you hangs a huge wide projection screen. Up on the massive widescreen begin to project the mental movie you made earlier and let it run several times. Hear the audience cheer as the movie runs. Clap and cheer yourself as you watch that 'other' you acting how you want to act and exhibiting the type of confident behaviour you want to have.
Continue your deep slow breathing as it will keep you relaxed.
Now imagine that you are floating up towards the screen. The audience is going wild as they know what is about to happen. They are cheering you on! Imagine that you float into the screen and become part of the movie. You stop behind the "other confident you" and find yourself facing the back of his/her head.
At this time take a step and walk into that 'new' you just as you would step into a projection or as though you wear trying on some new clothes. The new you is a perfect fit! Watch as the colours around get brighter, the sounds get louder and the scene gets bigger. As you enter the new you, feel how it feels to be that person. See what that person sees. Hear what that person hears.
In the distance on the other side of the screen you can hear the audience going wild with delight as you perform and act as that 'other' you would act. Feel how good that feels.
Now repeat your affirmations as you imagine the 'other' confident you would say them. Believe the truth behind these statements and feel that they are true. Say them with conviction.
Now once you feel all those great feelings of confidence, self assurance and self esteem just allow the scene to begin to fade. Mentally begin to count down from five to one as you allow your eyes to slowly open. Become fully aware of your surroundings as you bring yourself back to physical reality but bring with you all those good feelings.

The 2 basics ingredients to unleash the creative process.
Copyright 2006 Emmanuel Segui
The subconscious mind is more powerful and knows a lot more than our conscious mind does. The subconscious mind is connected to an infinite power that could be called the collective mind.
If you don't use this collective mind which is powerful enough to make all your dreams a reality, you are left alone and you won't enjoy all the good that you deserve.
Understanding the complexity of the subconscious mind is good but not tapping into this great spiritual reservoir that lies within and making the connection with the divinity is foolishness.
There are two basic ingredients in the creative process. If you want to tap into your subconscious or creative powers, you have to follow these two steps.
First, relax and see yourself already in possession of all the good that you desire. Build your imagination. Imagination builds cities. Imagination builds companies. Ideas build financial empires and freedom.
The subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between reality and fantasy or imagination. Ideas that are formed in your mind are real and everything that you tell the subconscious mind to be the truth is the truth.
The power of your subconscious mind is a dynamic power which is never turned off. But if you do not know the secret of this power, you would be inclined to say that your subconscious is eccentric because it can "go along" with "outside" influences. At such times, if your subconscious could speak, it would say: "Apparently my master wants to act this way, so I'll support that action."
This is one of the laws of the subconscious mind: the law of compliance.
Once you have defined and clarified what you really desire, then the second step is faith. Faith is a strong belief that dictates that whatever is necessary for you to reach your goal will indeed occur. Faith is not just an idea. Faith is trust. Faith in yourself or in a friend means that you believe and trust him or her.
Faith is letting go. I define, clarify and affirm what I desire. Now, I have faith that it will occur in its time. I trust and I let go. Don't force it to happen. It will naturally... because of your faith, trust and letting go.
The ultimate answer to why life is good or not good is centered in the control or lack of control of a power that is possessed by everyone. Control of this power brings results as if "by magic." Controlling the power of the subconscious mind means first mastering your thoughts so that you affirm only positive commands.
And once you imagine all the positive things that you desire and deserve, allow yourself to connect with this divinity, this collective mind that will bring to you everything that you imagine.
This is the true power of your subconscious mind. Don't fool yourself by relying on your own power alone. No one has ever enjoyed true happiness, wealth and health by relying on their own minds alone.
This new attitude will bring about new habits, habits of success. You will experience a new life and you will find yourself happier than ever before.
Freedom. At last, freedom.

The mind power within you.
Infinite riches are all around you if you open your mental eyes and behold the treasure house of infinity within you. There is a gold mine within you from which you can extract everything you need to live life gloriously, joyously and abundantly.
Many are sound asleep because they do not know about this gold mine of infinite intelligence and boundless love within themselves. Whatever you want, you can draw forth. A magnetised piece of steel will lift about ten times its own weight, and if you demagnetise this same piece of steel, it will not even lift a feather. Similarly, there are two types of people. There is the magnetised person who is full of confidence and faith. They know they are born to win and to succeed. Then, there is the type of person who is demagnetised. They are full of fears and doubts. Opportunities come, and they say, “I might fail; I might lose my money; people will laugh at me.” This type of person will not get very far in life because, if they are afraid to go forward, they will simply stay where they are. Become a magnetised person and live a successful life in all areas of life.
You can bring into you life more power, more wealth, more health, more happiness and more joy by learning to contact and release the hidden power of your subconscious mind.
Within your subconscious mind depths lie infinite wisdom, infinite power and infinite supply of all that is necessary to live a life of abundance. Through the wisdom of your subconscious mind you can attract the ideal companion, as well as the right business associate or partner. It can provide you with all the money you need, and the financial freedom to be, to do and to go as you heart desires.
The infinite intelligence within your subconscious mind can reveal to you everything you need to know at every moment of time and point of space provided you are open-minded and receptive. You can receive new thoughts and ideas enabling you to bring forth new inventions, make new discoveries, or write books and plays. Moreover, the infinite intelligence in your sub-conscious can impart to you wonderful kinds of knowledge of an original nature. It can reveal to you and open the way for perfect expression and true place in you life.
It is your right to discover this inner world of thought, feeling, and power, of light, love and beauty. Though invisible, its forces are mighty. Within your subconscious mind you will find the solution for every problem, and the cause for every effect. Because you can draw out the hidden powers, you can come into actual possession of the power and wisdom necessary to move forward in abundance, security and joy.

Nightmares
Nightmares are the type of dream everyone fears and wants to avoid. By their nature, these dreams are fearful, but often they need to be faced. The mind may be presenting them to us in such a dramatic manner because we have ignored a message for a prolonged period of time and it’s resorting to more drastic means to get our attention.
The truth is, many nightmares are actually gifts that we should be thankful for because they are trying to help us.
Avoidance is the wrong response. The strong emotions evoked by these intense dreams are cries for help, and like a baby crying in the night for attention … they will not be denied. The longer you ignore them, the louder they will get! Therefore ignoring nightmares is not only the wrong response, it’s impractical in that it will make them worse.
Sometimes the subconscious mind will work with your nightmares to bring resolutions without you being consciously aware of the entire process. But when nightmares become recurring, then it’s a sign that your conscious attention is being sought.
It’s more common to wake up in the middle of a nightmare than during a regular dream. It’s also more common to remember a nightmare. This is, again, by design as a way of trying to get your attention.
The best way to get rid of a recurring nightmare is to deal with it – that is to deal with the issue it’s presenting. It will take some courage, but here are some tips on how to do it:
· Rather than turning and shooting a monster or “bad guy” that is chasing you, it’s better to turn and ask the aggressor how you can help it. Use such questions as “What is it you want to tell me,” or “How can I help you help me?”
· Come up with solutions by asking other “cast members” in the dream what resolution they would like to see.
· Bring your Spiritual Guide into the dream and ask for his/her suggestions.
Nightmares may also be caused by trauma, psychiatric problems or drugs (both legal and illegal). In such cases the care of a health care professional should be sought immediately.

Controlling Your Emotions Through Hypnosis
Feelings, feelings, feelings! Does your entire life seems to be run by the way you feel? Sometimes you feel great, other times terrible and for the majority of time you feel just all alright. When you feel great "on top of the world" doesn’t it feel like you can achieve anything? When you feel down, depressed or negative don’t you feel like nothing is worth the effort and even if it were you would probably fail anyway? As I’ve said most of the time you will find yourself somewhere in the middle, just muddling through life day by day. But, what do you think you could accomplish if you could control your emotional state and evoke any emotion you wanted?
In order to develop this skill you must first realize what an emotion is. Emotions are not monsters or masters of your state. They are merely feelings that you create from your own perceptions. You evoke emotions based on internal and external circumstances that themselves are usually based on your past experiences!
When you experience a feeling, it is only an emotion, that has been triggered by your thoughts and these thoughts, in turn, have been triggered by your memories. These memories can be either pleasant or painful depending on how you processed the situation when it initially occurred. When confronted with a similar situation or event in the present your brain replays these memories at a conscious, or usually, unconscious level and feeds back to you the emotion associated with it.
We give our emotions and feelings many different names like joy, pleasure, happiness, fear, pain, frustration, anger but there are really only two emotions. One feels good and the other feels bad!
I’m sure you know the effects of feeling good and bad. You know that when you undertake a task and feel good about it is much more likely to succeed than if you feel bad about it. In fact if your feelings are very bad you will probably not even attempt the undertaking at all! Fear takes over!
What if you could feel good in situations where before you felt bad? What do you think that would mean for you?
Your emotional responses reside in your subconscious mind. It controls them and it is responsible for feeding the feelings to you at a conscious level. This is why it can be so hard or almost impossible for you to create emotions consciously. You can’t just tell yourself to be happy and suddenly you are filled with joy. In fact the opposite usually occurs as your subconscious mind reinforces the initial emotion and thoughts with more of the same!
So how do YOU combat this?
Well since your emotional responses reside in your subconscious mind, it stands to reason that if you want to change them you need to gain access to your subconscious and reprogram it - just like a computer!
So how do YOU do this?
Well thankfully there is a way and its much easier than you think. It is, of course, called HYPNOSIS. Through the use of hypnosis or self hypnosis you can easily and quickly gain access to the subconscious mind.
"Ok that all sounds great" you may say, "but what do I do then Sherlock?"
Well a skilful hypnotist, whether in person or on a recording, can very quickly ‘anchor’ new feelings to old memories. He can take a memory that has some very bad emotional responses connected to it and neutralize those emotions. Then he will re-connect your old memory with new positive emotions.
This involves the use of some very advanced forms of NLP (which can also be used very effectively without hypnosis). The positive affects of these techniques leaves you free from old memories that block you from moving forward in your life and also reprogram your mind to feel optimistic and hopeful when confronted with similar situations in the present and future.
This is also how phobias are dealt with and explaining this process should give you some idea of the power and benefits of using it on other emotional issues. Let’s say you have a real fear of spiders. Now everyone knows that a fear of spiders is irrational in most cases and has no foundation in truth. A house spider can do you absolutely no harm! So you get a hypnosis recording to deal with your arachnophobia. So what happens?
First the hypnotist will relax your mind and body and then get you to think of a happy scene filled with lovely beautiful creatures that you like. Say for instance you love little fluffy kittens. He will immerse you in the image and guide you to the beauty of the animal and evoke kindly, loving emotions. Then he will ask you to think of a spider. He may get you to put roller-skates on it and watch it trying to walk or get you to imagine it has a funny face or kindly demeanour. In this way he will neutralize the negative feelings you currently hold about the arachnid. Then he will connect the previous image of the kittens, and thus the positive emotions associated with it, to the image of the funny spider. You will also be guided to see the beauty of this little creature and its usefulness in nature. Thus, sometimes in one session, you can completely reverse a phobia!
Likewise the emotional response to any situation, circumstance, person or event can be reversed to whatever positive emotional response you want. Such is the power of hypnosis and the creativity of your mind. You will merely learn to react in a different, more positive, way and through modern mental techniques you can learn to do it in any way you desire.
So, there is really no excuse to suffer at the hands of your negative emotions any more. You can reprogram your mind to feel any way you want. Check it out, you may just like it!

Adopting a New Creed to Turn Your Life Around.
Copyright 2006 Emmanuel Segui
How many times in your life have you signed your name to an agreement that bound you to do something?
Even though you put great value on your personal freedom, and you would be wary of agreeing to do anything that would jeopardize it, you have committed yourself to certain things where a penalty was involved if you did not do them.
Even when you opened your bank account, and applied for your insurance, you agreed to be bound by certain specific conditions. Probably right now much of your use of money, and your personal and vocational life, is influenced by such agreements. You signed your name to such binding agreements because it was the only way you could have or do what you considered necessary in your life
Sign your life away!
These are all agreements you have made with other people. But what about yourself?
Have you ever made an agreement with yourself, to do something for yourself? This is the most important kind of an agreement you can make, and I propose that you make one right now. This agreement involves not parts of your life, but rather your whole life, and I believe that you are ready for it.
You are ready now to understand a new creed of living. And you are ready to accept and adopt this creed.
This is the creed of "do," the positive creed of action, performance, production and accomplishment. It is the opposite of the creed of "do not," the negative creed of rejection, procrastination, fear and failure.
This positive creed says "do, rather than do not"; "do, rather than talk about it"; "do, rather than wish"; "do, rather than wait."
Are you willing to embrace this creed? I am sure that it wouldn't take more than a little self-influence for you to do so. And I am sure that you are willing to say that your attitude toward it is that it is a good creed, and a right creed, for you.
But like any creed, this one says a lot in a few words, so I want you to consider the "fine print" that is in back of those words before you go all the way and say it is your creed.
Furthermore, I am sure you will agree with me when I say the acceptance of the creed should make a "noteworthy" impression on your subconscious mind. You will start out with a good attitude, of course, but the objective agreed upon should be to make this creed a good habit. So let's consider what is implied in the "fine print."
You will be a person who has veered away from the normal track and from living the typical, ultra-conventional life.
You will be a person who is always on the productive, progressive track, and that is abnormal!
This "do" creed, then, means that you will live abnormally, or above the normal. You will travel only on the positive side of the road of life. You will live immoderately, by going "all the way." Knowing the true significance of this creed, are you now willing to ally yourself with it?
You have not the slightest reason to be hesitant about your decision. This is the creed of a person who has established his own importance to himself. But there is still another vital reason for its being your creed. The creed of "do" is made up of the kind of stuff that makes subconscious self-influence clear and certain. You will have the highest score of "noteworthy" impressions on your subconscious by acting according to the creed. The creed will make your subconscious the kind of a partner you want it to be.
Are you adopting the creed? You are, so say "yes"!
Say it aloud, so that conscious will of yours blinks a bit from the reverberations and so that your affirmation is recorded on that subconscious camera as the brightest impression ever!
This is the turning point.

Say it aloud, so that conscious will of yours blinks a bit from the reverberations and so that your affirmation is recorded on that subconscious camera as the brightest impression ever!
This is the turning point.

A Startling Fact About The Dangers Of Labeling
Quite often, we use labels on ourselves and others without even realizing that we are doing it. And most often, they are negative. What we don’t realize is how much theses labels can hurt us and others.
The challenge is, what ever you state to yourself repetitively, even if you know on a conscious level that it is not true,<b> your subconscious mind believes it.</b>
For example, after misplacing something, have you ever said to your self, "I am so stupid." You know that you are just annoyed but your subconscious takes you seriously.
Once your subconscious mind believes something, <b>it sets out to confirm it's belief </b>and it can self sabotage your efforts to change and grow.
In fact, you may be holding several labels on yourself that you are not even aware of because you have been saying and believing them for so long. They may be about how well you believe you can learn, cook, drive or even show up on time.
These labels literately control your life and stop you from moving forward.
In addition, when we use labels on other people, just as in judging, we start to see only the label. Labels are stagnating and do not allow the other person to grow.
People will look for information that confirms the label that has been placed on a person. They will speak to the person according to their label, and don’t hear anything beyond it.
People will literately ignore anything that isn't inline with their belief about the other person and the label they put on them.
For example, if you believed that a person was clumsy and always stated that they were clumsy, you would ignore all the times that they walked or did anything with grace and ease.
Then if anything happened that even remotely looked clumsy you then would say, "see, what did I tell you, you're always so
clumsy."
<b>This can make the person very nervous in front of you </b> and the more the person worries the more likely it is for something to happen. It then becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I have seen some men do this to women, when they believe that all women are too emotional. The woman could go for months and not be upset with anything then something happens, he will go, "see, what did I tell you, women always get upset." All along 'forgetting' when they, themselves were upset.
Sometimes these men will even provoke the other person, by saying to them repeatedly, now don’t get upset. This is treating the other person is a way that you believe they will react which in turn creates the very behaviour that you were hoping to avoid in the first place.
People see and hear what they want to believe. And compounding that is, what you see and hear is filtered through your bias. So in the end you receive only a partial message that leaves out anything that contradicts your beliefs.
Sometimes people hold back information from the other person in the hopes confusing them to keep their belief alive about the other person's abilities. This creates the behaviour that the other person wants to prove.
Labeling can also leads to criticism, bigotry and hatred. Especially when small children are listening to us. They are learning how to act in society and repeat what they hear, which in turn affects how their future will turn out.

<li> Trouble maker</li>

<li> Smart</li>
<li> Good / bad</li>

Even positive labels can hurt and annoy. There are people who
and said that they are tired of always hearing that they are the cute, good, smart one etc. It stifles who they are and their potential to grow if they believe they must stay with in the label.
Ask yourself, what labels you use on yourself and others. Start noting how often you say them and ask yourself, do you believe they are true. Then start replacing them with sayings that are more productive in growing to your own potential.
While you are doing that, contemplate on this quote.

3 Steps To Manifestation The Personal Development Way
Thoughts become Things! Anyone who studies personal development knows this is true but how many know the three ingredients that guarantee you Manifest your desires?
Do you know how powerful your thoughts really are? Are you fully aware that these thoughts, all 50,000 per day, are singularly the most powerful influences on everything that happens to you in your life and are the reson you have attracted the people you know, the house you live in and the car you drive?
In fact the sum total of everyone's thoughts is the very thing that shapes everything that exists, everything that has existed, and everything that will ever exist. You may ask then "if this is true then shouldn't it be possible to bring into existence anything we desire?"
Well the short simple answer is YES!
It is through the power of deliberate thought that we can create. While thought alone does have the power to bring tangible (cars, houses, boats) and intangible (peace, harmony and joy) things into existence often times this is not enough! Intention, or directed thinking and believing, is enough to create powerful enough thoughts to manifest anything we want but you must also add two other ingredients.
Firstly, your thoughts must be backed by emotion. The more powerful the emotion - the stronger the thought. It is essential to create within you the same feelings that you will have when you actually achieve your desire. You actually do this all the time only in the opposite direction. For example, you think of what you are afraid may happen and all of a sudden you feel frightened, tense and may even start to exhibit some physiological symptoms such as sweating or shaking or just get the shivers. Begin to reverse this method of thinking. Think only of what you do want and conjure up the feelings associated with that. How will it feel to meet and marry that perfect person? How will it feel behind the wheel of that new Mercedes or in the kitchen of that new home?
The second key ingredient of the three is action! It is neccessary to be prepared to take some action. This is a key point that many personal development gurus leave out! The action that you need to take will not be strenuous or a toil, it will be enjoyable and feel right to you.
Each of us here on the planet plays their own special role in the complete operation of the Universe. We are all One, interconnected and interdependent. Your desires will almost always come through some form of action and through connection to other people.
Your thoughts do have the power to completely change your life and circumstances. When thoughts are backed by emotion they become an unstoppable force that will carry you to wherever you want to go in life. But you must be willing to take the steps towards your desires when these steps are presented to you. For example thinking and believing you will meet your soul mate will bring you vast opportunities for meeting him/her but you never will if you sit at home all day and do not venture outside! You may find that you begin to get asked to go to places more often or get invited to a place you have never been before. You may even accidently meet old friends or develop new friendships. This is the Universe setting you on a path to your desires. Take that invitation. Even if it is something you have no desire to do or somewhere you do not want to go, you should accept the invitation. Who knows who you may meet or where you may end up!
So remember, ingredient 1 - thoughts have power. Ingredient 2 - thoughts backed by strong emotion and belief can change the very Universe and create ANYTHING you want. And the lastly ingredient 3 - action is the last key ingredient to bringing about your desires and living the life of your dreams. Now get out there and start to CREATE!
